Dosage

To increase pH, use 1 teaspoon (6 g) for every 80 L (20 US gallons) daily until the desired pH is reached. This dose raises alkalinity by approximately 1 meq/L (2.8 dKH).

How to Use

Determine the amount of Alkaline Buffer required for your aquarium water volume according to the desired alkalinity (KH). For gradual adjustment or to target a particular pH, use Alkaline Buffer together with Seachem Acid Buffer. When combining the two buffers, use the suggested ratio chart; divide the required Alkaline Buffer amount by the number in the middle column to calculate the required amount of Acid Buffer. For precise measuring, use the Seachem Digital Spoon Scale.
