How to Use

• Although pre-washed, rinse before use if dust has developed during transit.
• Place the substrate in the aquarium to create the desired gravel bed.
• Fill the aquarium slowly to avoid disturbing the substrate bed.
• For gentler filling, place a bowl in the aquarium and pour water into the bowl so it overflows softly onto the gravel.

It is pre-washed, but as it is a natural product it may become dusty in transit. Rinse it before use if needed to remove residual dust.

Will Flourite Black change the pH of my aquarium water?
No. It is not chemically coated or treated and will not alter the pH of the water.

Can I use this black substrate in an aquarium without live plants?

Do I need laterite or another gravel modifier with Seachem Flourite Black?

Why is my water cloudy after setting up Flourite Black?
Initial cloudiness is normal. Use mechanical filtration, such as filter floss, to remove cloudiness; Seachem Clarity™ can be used to accelerate clearing.

Does this planted aquarium substrate need to be replaced over time?
No. Flourite Black is intended to be good for the life of the aquarium and does not need to be replaced.

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
