How to Use

• Shake well before use.
• Distribute the dose evenly throughout the pond water.
• Do not use UV clarifiers, synthetic resin or activated carbon to filter the water during treatment.
• The treatment cycle lasts four to seven days. It begins as soon as the one-off dose is added on the first day, and the remedy takes effect over the days that follow.
• If possible, use activated carbon to filter the water at the end of each treatment cycle. The filter should not be heavily soiled.
• We recommend providing an additional form of aeration.
• A second dose can be added to the pond once the water has been filtered.
• Ponds with low water temperatures that are infected with white spot disease need at least two consecutive treatment cycles.

Dosage

Add 50 ml of Tetra Pond MediFin for every 1,000 litres of garden pond water. It is a one-off dose given on the first day of each treatment cycle.

How long does a treatment cycle last?
A cycle runs for four to seven days. It starts on the day you add the one-off dose, and the remedy takes effect over the following days.

Can I run my UV clarifier or carbon filter during treatment?
No. Do not use UV clarifiers, synthetic resin or activated carbon to filter the water while treating. At the end of each cycle you can use activated carbon, provided the filter is not heavily soiled.

My pond is cold and my fish have white spot. What should I do?
Ponds with low water temperatures that are infected with white spot disease need at least two consecutive treatment cycles. A second dose can be added once the water has been filtered. Extra aeration is also recommended.

Can I use it when there is nothing wrong with my fish?
Yes. It can be used as a preventative measure, especially after a dormancy period and when adding new fish to the pond.

How do I dispose of leftover product and the packaging?
Take both to a hazardous or special waste collection point. Do not use the remedy after its expiry date.

• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
