The hygger canister filter is designed for self-priming, eliminating the need for siphoning, pumping, or manual priming. With a one-touch setup button, the filter starts up effortlessly and conveniently, automatically resuming operation if power is interrupted and then restored. This filter is ideal for freshwater, saltwater aquariums, and planted tanks, but it is not recommended for low-water-level turtle tanks.
Efficient and Quiet 3-Stage Filtration System
This canister filter features three stacking, large-capacity media trays with a foam pad, activated carbon, and ceramic rings. These trays effectively perform mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration, quietly and efficiently cleaning and clarifying the water in your tanks. The filter also offers the flexibility to customize the filtration media to suit the specific requirements of your tank, providing you with full control over the filtration process.
UV Light for Crystal Clear Water
The integrated 7-watt UV bulb, enclosed in a protective case, enhances the effectiveness of the hygger aquarium UV filter. It tackles algae blooms, reduces cloudiness, and minimizes the need for water changes. This maintains the water’s crystal clarity and ensures your aquatic pets a healthy, clean environment.
Easy Assembly and Cleaning
The hygger canister filter is designed for user-friendly assembly and cleaning. It features a quick inlet and outlet connect valve, simplifying the process of adjusting and stopping water flow and attaching and detaching hoses from the canister without needing to remove it from its cabinet during cleaning and maintenance. The filter media basket, complete with a handle, is easily accessible, making it convenient to pull out for cleaning or replacing the filter media.
Usage Tips
Please ensure that the canister is properly sealed and that both the intake and output are submerged underwater.
Adjustable Water Flow
The connect valve provides easy control over the water flow. To stop the water, simply pull up on the valve, and to maximize the water flow, pull it down.
Quick Connect Valve
This feature enables you to shut off the hoses and disconnect them from the canister without the need to remove the canister from its cabinet.
