The Neptune PM1 pH/ORP Probe Module is an expansion module for the Neptune Systems Apex that adds pH or ORP monitoring to your aquarium controller. It also gives you ports for a temperature probe and a Breakout Box, so it suits reefkeepers who want to get more from their Apex.

How to Use

Connect the module to your Apex with the AquaBus cable, then plug in the probe for what you want to monitor. Probes and accessories are sold separately.

  • pH/ORP probe port: Use either a pH probe or an ORP probe. If you run two aquariums near each other, a pH probe on the PM1 lets you monitor both tanks from the same Apex system. If you run a calcium reactor, a pH probe inside it can monitor the reactor's pH and automate a CO2 solenoid. An ORP probe lets you automate specialised equipment such as an ozone generator.
  • Temperature probe port: An additional temperature probe can monitor the temperature of another aquarium. Placed elsewhere, it can also monitor the ambient air around your aquarium.
  • I/O port: Connect your Apex to the Breakout Box, an accessory that is easy to overlook. The Breakout Box lets you connect up to 6 different switches or buttons to trigger feed modes, timers and more.
