How to Use

Pack the cup with the media you want to run: filter floss, ceramic media, carbon, GFO or another media of your choice. Use the included media bag to hold loose media. Water is directed down through the media by the slots in the lower half of the cup before it leaves.

• Carbon: helps remove toxins and yellowing pigments from the water.
• GFO: helps remove phosphates.
• Biological media such as MarinePure: adds surface area.
• Filter pads only: if you simply want to polish free-floating particles out of the water, place a few handfuls of filter pad in the cup and replace the dirty pads every few days.

Can the Filter Media Cup replace a filter sock?
Yes. It is designed as a cost-effective replacement for filter socks. If you only need to polish free-floating particles, a few handfuls of filter pad in the cup is all it needs.

What media can I run in it?
You can run carbon, GFO, filter floss, ceramic media or any other media you like. A biological substrate such as MarinePure is also an option for added surface area.

Will it fit my Red Sea Reefer or MAX system?

Collection timeframes:

• Bob Box: Collect within 2 days of receiving your collection notification.
• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.

Please ensure you collect your parcel within the applicable collection period. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender, and additional shipping charges may apply should the order need to be resent.
