It is designed as an alternative carbon source to injected CO2. SCAPE still recommends CO2 injection where possible, but Liquid Carbon supplies the carbon your plants need when a CO2 setup isn't practical or affordable.

How much should I dose for a 200 litre aquarium?
At the rate of 1 squirt (approx. 1 ml) per 50 L daily, a 200 L tank takes 4 squirts (approx. 4 ml) each day.

Does it really kill Black Beard Algae?
SCAPE states that its Liquid Carbon kills Black Beard Algae on contact and also suppresses other nuisance algae such as thread, hair, dust and staghorn algae.

Do I still need to do water changes while dosing?
Yes. A 30–50% water change every week is recommended for best results.

How long will the 500 ml last?
That depends on tank size. At approximately 1 ml per 50 L daily, a 100 L aquarium uses about 2 ml a day, so 500 ml lasts roughly 250 days. Larger tanks will use it faster.

• PUDO Lockers: Collect within 36 hours of receiving your collection PIN or SMS notification.

If a PUDO parcel is not collected within 36 hours, it will automatically be transferred to the nearest PUDO Kiosk or Depot at no additional cost. The parcel will then be held there for approximately 2 days before being returned.
